Yea no waterproofing for the shower pan. Hopefully the customer can sue for full damages when this causes mold all over their house

It makes sense the owner likes it, they picked it lol I understand you’re saying it’s supposed to be like that, that doesn’t mean it looks good or makes it look better because it’s supposed to look like that. People are open to their own opinions

For me, I’m always worried about mold and dirt in the cracks of tile. Especially after I had a cleaning business and it was a constant issue with tile that was grouted properly. What is your secret for not being worried about this?

I’m sure these are sold as water proof so I’m sure that they are but just SOMETHING about this tile is scratching my brain that it’s pourous on the non glazed end. Although it looks like it’s stoneware so Idk just something about it is scratching my brain that these tiles would fall off if the grout comes off.

The imperfect look is awesome. Way better than stamped out same old look. It makes it a one-of-a-kind. I would much rather have something original and imperfect than predictable and copy paste. Also, having a podcast on while doing a project is a must. And a beer hahaha.

I get the "imperfect look" but there are just some rules that we stick while tiling that make using said bathroom easier, and help to keep it clean. What a professional would do: - proposed to not use those tiles in a wet area - mixed imperfect tiles(front of a tup) with practical ones (top of a tub) - align at least the top of a tub You haven't spent enough time to properly fill the gaps with grout, and it's perfect for dust and other things to collect in there. (sorry english is not my first language)
