Pressure cook for 3 whistles or until the dals are soft and fully cooked. 3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. 4. Add asafoetida, chopped garlic, green chilli, and curry leaves. Sauté until the garlic turns lightly golden. 5. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. 6. Stir in the chopped tomato, turmeric powder, and Kitchen King masala. Cook until the tomatoes soften. 7. Add the cooked dal and 1 cup of water. Mix well and bring to a gentle boil. 8. Add butter, adjust the salt to taste, and simmer for 5–7 minutes. 9. Stir in the chopped coriander. Prepare the Tadka 1. Heat the ghee and oil together in a small pan. 2. Add the chopped garlic and sauté until golden. 3. Add the curry leaves and Kashmiri red chillies. 4. Turn off the heat and stir in the red chilli powder. 5.
