How the hell do you keep track of where all those screws go? Must have a photographic memory?

I did this on a Kia soul. Same thing but I did it in the car. Didnt need to unplug have the stuff and just dropped the steering rack a little so I can unscrew the motor

Leave the steering shaft attached to the column when you pull it out and just disconnect it at the firewall. When putting it back in connect the shaft first and then use the shaft to hold up the back end of the column as you set it back up into place. I do a ton of these and it makes it much easier.

In the day, I used to work on my own car, but the cars were built to make them easier and exposed . Parts were made in the USA .
