When police searched his body, they found a detailed, chilling self unaliving note slipped into his plastic wrapped wallet. The note explicitly detailed his crimes, directed police to the apartment on Rampart Street, and stated that he destroyed her body entirely out of an intentional desire to maximize his own sense of failure and damnation. “I k*lled her at 1 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5.
