I think Paarthunax gets a lot of glaze for “betraying the dragon cult” but he was just a tool to be used by the goddess Kyne. This is why the greybeards follow the way of Kyne bc they were given it directly from her. That’s also why when you as Dragonborn say you’ll follow the way of Kyne they correct you saying something on the lines of “that’s noble but your gift IS different it’s from Akatosh. It’s a completely different set of rules
