@nikitrott__: I honestly don’t even know how to fully put this into words yet. I went into this surgery for the second time thinking maybe things would look different or maybe they wouldn’t find much at all. A part of me was still hoping for that. But instead, what they found was exactly what I’ve been feeling and trying to explain for months. That feeling of my organs being stuck together. The pain like everything inside was pulling and trapped. That constant knowing that something wasn’t right. And they confirmed it. Endometriosis again throughout my pelvis affecting multiple areas, and to the point where most of my organs were completely covered with endometriosis and they couldn’t remove all of it safely. That’s been a lot to sit with. I’ve been so lucky this time to have an incredible doctor who has really listened to me and taken me seriously. But even with that, this is still a chronic disease. It’s still something I’ll be navigating long term and that reality is scary sometimes. This disease has taken so much from me and so many around me in different ways. I want to continue to be someone that smiles and is happy, but I also want to keep sharing this part of my life. I want to show that you can be a grateful person and still struggle deeply at the same time, and still be so grateful for everything you do have. I’m sharing so much of my story right now because I’m at a point where I want answers and I want change. I’m advocating because there needs to be more research and there needs to be real answers for millions of women around the world. Because this can’t be it. It seriously cannot be it. If something feels off in your body, please listen to it. Keep advocating for yourself even when it’s hard because more often than not your body is trying to tell you the truth. And I do feel hopeful too that with the right care I’ll have windows of relief again and less pain than I’ve been living with. And I’m holding onto that 🤍 #endometriosis #chronicillness #endo #laparoscopicsurgery #relatable
I just had mine done. No endometriosis, but I do have adenomyosis and there was a lot of scar tissue on my bowels, uterus, and bladder.. not what I thought it would be.. but at least it was an answer! I hope you have a peaceful recovery! 💜

I am 52 ,had 3 Endo removal surgeries in my 30s and early 40's , uterine ablation in my mid 40s, uterine hysterectomy when I was 47 and finally my ovaries were removed at 52 in April, because the endometriosis kept coming back. at my 8 weeks post Op when I asked my Gyno if it would come back she said no I was cured. I cried. the pain was unbearable sometimes. My last surgery was the worst of all but I am so thankful it's finally over. I got diagnosed when I was 31 and couldn't get pregnant, I had to have surgery to remove endometriosis first then fertility treatment and had my only child at 33.

Poor thing, I am 68 and had a hysterectomy at 40! It’s real girl and can attach to other organs outside of the pelvic area! Keep fighting! 🙏💕
