Doing long distance for the past 6 months dating and 6 months of us being bestfriends before, delta does a pass to let your partner walk you/you walk with your partner to the gate needed before boarding. My boyfriend sat with me for 30 minutes it was the best thing ever

I fly constantly and didn’t know you could get a “gate pass”. I’m in a long distance relationship and would love this. Definitely checking into it for my next flight which is in a few weeks. I fly nearly every month.

It’s totally at the airlines discretion. They can just say no if they want to but I e never had that happen. My son is military and I’ve done it a few times. I’m not sure but I think that you can ask for one if they are flying in too

Idk if it’s the same but when I was a kid and traveled by myself my auntie was able to sit with me at my gate until I board and she didn’t have a ticket I didn’t know if they still had that option 😭😭
