I've studied the nuerotransmitter pathways and essentially bee venom contains some molecules which are melittin, apamin and phospholipase , these all do different things one breaks down membrane other blocks certain channels to open like sodium, potassium but they have anti inflammatory effects but also should be done in very low doses but see this is like not very reliable it had barely been tested and has inconsistent results as all these molecules do various things and cause any times of pain like swelling or allergic reactions
