If you want to be targeted and discussed, raise concerns... chase for visibility in meetings. I've grown to learn that one must only contribute in meetings when it's necessary. when you have your slot. Choose peace more than visibility. what you say doesn't always work everywhere. Remember, other organizations have their own culture.. Sometimes even a legitimate visibility on your side can be used against you and the culture of the organization allows it.. I raised a concern in a very professional manner in one meeting and I was told on chats that I'm selling my Boss. Selling her to who when we are only colleagues of the same organization in the meeting, discussing a method to adopt going forward to engage SMME Proffesional Services Providers? So this may be dangerous. one must rather stop chasing visibility in meetings and stick to "NOTHING FROM MY SIDE". We love our jobs, we are intentional about objectives but sometimes the environment is too toxic to allow you to be all about your job. Sometimes you raise concerns that hinder people's interests. Before chasing visibility you must keep in mind that we are not all clean at work... stick to your lane. that's the best thing
