Can I ask why you are worried about driving in the heat with other drivers? I would be worried more if it was raining. Lots of fluids air con in the car and dress for the heat . I’m in Australia and we get the heat , also a cold pack on your shoulders helps . But you need to be the decision maker

We had almost the same temperature in 1976, we all managed without all the dire warnings. 😳 I understand your concern, but your car will have aircon.

I think it’s ridiculous the schools might be shutting! It’s no different to home than it is at school, most schools have adjusted the uniform policy. A lot of people can’t just not go to work because of the weather!

i'm on the fence about this heatwave and how people in general are acting & closures/disruptions because of the heat. we go aboard to hot countries, what's really the difference? it's no different really accept we're doing our day to day life instead of being on holiday🤔 my son's nursery is closing early which doesn't really affect me too much today but I've worked at my local hospital/gp surgery for the last 10 years sadly we can't just close up and leave because it's too hot. to a degree I don't understand the panic🫣 what's everyone's thoughts?
