@getrealwithshan: ‼️ First-time home buyers, beware of seller agents who do this. ‼️ I’m not saying you NEED to use a buyer agent, but seriously things like this do happen. You be the judge… this cobroke agent really was trying his luck (knowing my buyer was a first-timer), and tried bulldoze his way through via the law firm. It is NOT the seller’s right to move up the completion date & get a rent free extension FOC without discussing such details before issuing an OTP. In fact, an OTP would usually have all extra terms clearly stated. 😮‍💨 and fees would apply. So anw, don’t try your luck with me / my buyers ya. 🤪 We know what we’re doing after hundreds of transactions. 谢谢 🙏

If the decision is made after exercise, better to use lawyer. The agent should have informed you first, then after that ask lawyer to write to their lawyer. The seller law firm will advise to write in.
