Honestly, ₱200 Grab vs ₱400 metered taxi for the same route does not feel fair from a passenger perspective 😭 Pero it can happen because ₱400 taxi fare may include traffic/waiting time and the taxi’s higher per-km rate, compared mo sa Grab na pre-set fare and may have discounts. Kaya feeling ko hindi scammer si kuya driver, at mabait pa sya at inareglo nalang nya na mag meet kayo in between.

experience the same last June 18. Super loading ng data e-sim nabili namin sa Agoda so hindi kami makapagbook ng Grab, nagtaxi kami, grabe presyuhan. Yong iba wlang meter. Grab pay from Old quarter to Airport around 300-350K lng pero nong nagtaxi kami 2X need namin bayaran. Kaloka

This is what you should do always .. never argue .. always look for a police station and tell them to bring you there .. it’s always effective for me when I’m in another country .. or I get the nearest police station number & show it to driver with pic of police station ..

Same sa ngyari samin sa hanoi, nagtaxi kami. Una parang nasa 4000 flat rate ng meter nya pagsakay namin, nagpadaan lang ako sa CR na nasa tabi lang ng daan usin wala png 1km naabot namin nung napansin ko nasa 220,000 na omg! Sinita ko sya sabi what is that 220,000 dong? Nagalit sya sabi nya 22,000 daw pinababa nya kmi nagdahilan sya na 1way daw duon

sameee from airport to our airbnb!! dami kasi sa labas ng airport nagsasabi grab daw, sabi nung driver 500k daw then add 200k since dadaan kami sa expressway, we paid 700k in total. pero nung tinignan namin sa app mismo ng grab, nasa 300k lang 😭 lesson learned, mag book kayo sa app mismo!
