The milk in the United States is refrigerated because it’s pasteurized at 161° versus the rest of the world where they basically cook the milk at 280° and seal it in an airtight container making it shelf stable unopened for months. Once it’s opened, it has to go into the refrigerator.

For the shopping carts I know what you mean I love having castor wheels on the front and back. The only place I've seen that in the states is believe this at Harbor freight in Boardman OH.

UK milk aisle - there will be cold air being pumped around the cages that the milk is in. That’s why that aisle is always the coldest in the supermarket

The eggs aren’t clean and sanitize like in American. Another thing is the fresh food like vegetables doesn’t have the same shelf life as food in America. So basically buying more often or meal prep everything the same day. How come nobody mentions the variety of different choice types of foods? Like the potatoes for example American has multiple varieties of potatoes to choose from. Wbu the price difference compared to American foods?
