In my opinion, the delivery service isn't to blame; people need to clear a path to their doors so delivery drivers can reach them safely to drop off packages. Sometimes there are loose dogs in the backyards, and when a driver arrives, the dogs might attack—which is why drivers try to get as close as possible to the delivery spot.
