@nell15201: VIDEO | "UN rapporteur Francesca Albanese was sanctioned by the United States ... She is banned entry from the United States." The head of a prominent pro-Israel pressure group has publicly claimed credit for a coordinated campaign targeting UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese and her family. Speaking at the JNS International Policy Summit this week, UN Watch Executive Director Hillel Neuer detailed his organization's successful lobbying efforts to pressure the US government into sanctioning the UN official. Neuer stated that the campaign against Albanese was launched in response to her previous commentary regarding 7 October and the political influence of the US Jewish lobby. He told the audience that UN Watch leveraged these controversies to actively push for formal US punitive measures against her. In addition to the diplomatic sanctions, Neuer boasted that his organization successfully targeted Albanese's husband, who is employed by the World Bank. According to the UN Watch chief, the group directly intervened to secure his demotion from his position at the international financial institution, accusing him of participating in his wife's alleged incitement against Israel.
