I am a driver and I always compare it to like FedEx. If you order a T-Shirt online and it shows up but it’s the wrong size, do you blame FedEx, or the store you bought it from?

It's never been the drivers job to go back. Ever. I'm so tired of these company's existing a lot of the times bc the drivers get all of the slack from mistakes they didn't even make.

That makes absolutely zero sense. The drivers job is to pick up the food and drop it off. She has no control over what is in the bag and it is not her responsibility.

it wasn't the driver's responsibility to make sure the right food is in the bag, her job is to get the bag and deliver it. her job is done, the next step is to report what's wrong. I've had to do that myself and it's pretty much either take the credit for the missing item or have it delivered by someone else who's nearby.

The restaurant gives a sealed bag to the driver. Checking the contents is not the driver’s job. They are delivering a bag, what’s in the bag is the restaurant’s job.

Probably an unpopular opinion: if the support service doesn’t work how the fuck else are you supposed to report this stuff. It might not be the driver’s fault but if the company made a better effort to support customers it would never have come to this
