What kind of environment did they grow up and live in? The recent incidents involving teenagers in Mogadishu are becoming more frequent. Many of these young people lack structure in their lives as well as access to education and employment opportunities. These young women and men spend their days without clear goals direction or hope for the future. I feel deeply sorry for the victim and I sincerely hope she receives justice. However if we do not take action these crimes may become more frequent and even more brutal. We must help these young people and provide them with opportunities guidance and a sense of purpose.
