I did the 16 hour Rome to Perth and it was actually 15 hours so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s actually less. You can use qantas points too, so worth it!

I’ve flown 17 hours to both Dallas (from Sydney) and about 18-19 from New York to Auckland… what’s another 2-3 hours seriously for direct!!

As someone who did the 17 hour flight from Perth to London I don’t think I could do longer 😅 17 hours was too much as it is and I’m someone who sleeps the whole time

Flew to London last week and had a 55 min lay over. But i normally have a 2 hour layover. I actually like the break between flights. I also don’t rate the Qantas business class, if Qatar start doing this, I’m on board.

The key is getting the bulk head row at the front of economy if you’re not flying business. It’s an extra 200 but you basically have a 2x2m area to stretch in front of your seat
