@greenpeaceuk: they say climate change is a human problem, maybe, but what about the fossil fuel industry? What about shell? BP? The companies profiting from the destruction of our planet? Polluting our world for their greed? They are to blame. They are the true problem. It’s time to stand up to them and make them pay. Want to help us fight them? 2018: Visitors come to see the new place "Hey! Nice new house, wow lovely lawn, great for BBQs!"
2019: "Wow! Plum trees and grape vines! Won't those make it a bit shady?"
2023: "Been a while! Where's the lawn? OK so blackcurrants and blueberries on the patio it is then [rolls eyes]
2026: "OMG! Sitting in the shade eating apricots and figs and grapes and strawberries and blueberries straight off the plants! This is amazing!"

Idk :
yet this is overshadowed by influencers, fights between politically polarized people who defend empty promises and guarantees, and normalized overconsumption. What gets millions of likes and visibility doesn't tackle the real problem.
(By the way, this is a question to whoever is reading. Am I the only one who noticed that after quarantine and the pandemic we suddenly forgot the environment and social issues? I remember that before the pandemic, back at school we had constant visits from people talking to us about the environment and what we could do. And taking a look at what my college did before quarantine showed me that they shifted from promoting innovations regarding the environment to more tech and AI projects... Am I the only one?)
