@rollingwithjess: Staying safe in a heatwave as someone who is chronically ill. Just a reminder if you take immunosuppressants especially ones like methotrexate please be extra careful in the sun and make sure to be wearing SPF 50 as you are at higher risk of severe sunburn and certain types of skin cancer. If you take SSRIs please make sure to stay hydrated as you are at a higher risk of heatstroke. SPF products used - •Skin and Me Daily Defence SPF 50 •Hawaiian Tropic Mineral protection SPF 30 Powder •ISOskin Halo SPF 50 VD: Jess is a 20 year old white female with long brown hair put up into 2 dutch braids. She is wearing a light yellow sundress, she shows multiple SPF products and her putting them on, she shows a clip of her putting an olivia rodrigo tshirt over her dress, and a clip of her sipping from her pink water bottle. Aussie here! I have a pet cooling mat that I keep in the fridge. I lay on it or lay it over me when it gets really bad and I’m on the borderline of heat exhaustion or heat stroke. That am having a cold bowl of water in front of a fan works wonders

I use a moisturiser which includes spf50 instead doesn’t feel like sunscreen and helps keep your face feeling fresh

The sweat in a prosthetic is INSANEEE. 11 weeks post op, 5 weeks in a prosthetic and my god. You can literally tip it out after a half hour walk😂😂
