Sheinbaum said she invited them so the public could meet the family behind the viral star, describing Merlin as a symbol of Mexican families and the country’s World Cup spirit. Gómez also revealed that Merlin eats special duck food, vegetables, fruit, fish and crickets, but enjoys a carnitas taco every Sunday.
