@mrabdulreacts: We're now importing our own fuel from Togo due to policy and infrastructural inefficiency. #fyp #dangoterefinery #nigeria #foryoupage❤️❤️ #mrabdulreacts
Am asking myself many times where are we heading to ?

isn't that fuel arbitrage. that won't affect dangote. dangote should keep exporting to togo. the problem here is weak naira. togo currency is apparently higher, which makes togo buy cheaper from Nigeria. in the long run that'll only affect togo, except what I am saying here is wrong. maybe Nigeria government tax is affecting Nigeria market.

in addition, Nigeria regulations make it a law, that every company operating within trade free zone, has only opportunity of selling 30% of his product/production to the marketers or consumers within the same country they operate.
the problem is the regulation law makers, this needs to change.

I still don't understand. Are the imported fuel not passing through the same ports? Are they not paying import taxes or iIs the import tax cheaper?

Despite buying it cheaper out there and bringing it back it hasn’t still affected the fuel price to consumers like us all so what’s the use ?
