Orlando :
Damn, this is making me think about all of my old best friends, and Joe is so right. I still miss them, and I'm pretty sure we'd still be talking if I hadn't drifted into a different friend group. At the time, I thought it was the right choice, but I eventually realized they weren't the best influence on me. They were genuinely good people, but some of the things they did weren't. When I started drifting away from that group, I couldn't bring myself to go back to my old best friend because of how I had ghosted him and replaced him so quickly. Even though I never wanted things to turn out that way, I felt like I'd ruined any chance of fixing our friendship. Later on, I met someone new. We played games and talked every day, staying up late just talking about life. We connected in so many ways that it honestly felt like we were meant to be friends from the start. Sadly, he eventually started struggling a lot with his mental health because of problems at home. After a while, he stopped playing with me and disappeared for months without replying to any of my messages. Then one day, he finally reached out. He told me how much he appreciated me for being a friend he felt comfortable opening up to someone he could trust with his problems. He also said we probably wouldn't talk for a long time because he wanted to step away from everything online, focus on himself, build his confidence, and hopefully become a happier person. Just writing this lowk made me tear up and I’m not even sure why I typed this but I guess the video just made me really think about all of this and I hope people can learn something from the beginning cause if I could redo everything I would never have replaced my first friend and even after I did I should’ve just messaged him I’m sure he would’ve understood cause once you begin to become really good friends with someone things happen over the years, arguments happen, you become more distant cause of problems with friends, sometimes you take a joke too far but no matter what happens they always forgive you with open arms which is what makes you truly good friends🥺
