You asked me to come 15 mins early, I’m getting paid for those 15 minutes. 15 mins early, 5 days a week, that’s 1 hour 15 that I’m not getting paid for. Over a 4 week month, that’s around 5 hours. I’m getting paid those 5 hours. Could be even more if you’re in more days a week. It’s ridiculous

I told my manager I needed to move house and gave him a 2 week notice as soon as I found out my moving date to ask for the one shift off and he told me to find cover I couldn’t find cover so I took the day off anyway I then got fired 2 weeks later for unauthorised absence 🫪
