I flew on Cathay Pacific from Hkg - Syd and back. I flew on the 777-300erto and a350-1000 back. The 777 had 3/4/3 seating on economy and I felt it was a bit more cramped, air was very dry and it noticeably had a lot more engine noise. The a350 was the most pleasant flight I’ve had, the cabin in economy was 3/3/3 so the seats were a little bigger and we had a bit more legroom. Also when I arrived I noticed I didn’t have such a dry throat as I did. The noise was definitely less and I know it’s the way the airlines configure their planes but it did feel a bit more airy inside the a350. The 777 wasn’t bad but the a350 was a better experience. Now people will say because the airlines configure their cabins so I can only go in the same carrier different craft to compare and that’s what I found. I will try to fly on the a350 when I can if I have the choice
