@simplyvirginiaugc: If you’re looking for a family getaway that has a little bit of everything, Traverse City deserves a spot on your list. 🌊☀️ We spent a few days exploring this beautiful corner of Michigan and quickly fell in love with it. Our home base was the Grand Beach Resort, located right on the shores of Lake Michigan. Waking up to those water views and having the beach just steps away made it the perfect place for a family vacation. Just across the street, the girls had a blast at Pirate’s Cove, where we spent the afternoon playing mini golf (they also have go-carting!). One of our favorite experiences was floating down the Platte River with Riverside Canoe. The peaceful ride, crystal-clear water, and beautiful scenery made for such a relaxing family adventure. And of course, no trip to the area is complete without a visit to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Standing at the top and taking in those breathtaking views of Lake Michigan is something we’ll never forget.
