Why does everyone in Brisbane immediately ask that though?? I found it so odd when I moved here that in my mid 30’s people were asking what school I went to, like that was nearly 20yrs ago I don’t even think about school anymore why is that a go to first question here 😂

A VERY Brisbane thing to ask. I’m from SA, then moved to Darwin and every now and again someone would ask what school I went to (they were always from QLD), then I moved to Brisbane and everyone always asks what school I went to! Guys and gals. I said ‘a school in Tantanoola in SA that’s shut down because there weren’t enough kids to keep it going’ and they proceed to tell me how they went to ‘Maggie’s’, ‘Eddies’, ‘grammar’ blah blah blah. I’m 32 btw 😂
