I would walk up to that young man, quietly, and without saying a word, I would pull him into the tightest hug I could. I would hold on for as long as possible, knowing the battles he was fighting in silence, the pain he carried behind his eyes, and the countless nights he endured alone. As I stood there holding him, tears would slowly roll down my face. Not tears of regret, but tears of understanding. Tears for every hardship he faced, every disappointment he swallowed, every moment he felt lost, broken, exhausted, and unseen. I would gently tap him on the shoulder and say: "You have no idea how strong you are." "Right now, you think you are struggling. You think you are failing. You think nobody sees the weight you are carrying. But one day, you'll realize that these very battles are shaping the man you are becoming." "The pain you are feeling today will become your strength tomorrow. The tears you cry in private will water the seeds of a future you cannot yet see." And then I would tell him the words he desperately needed to hear: "I'm proud of you." "Not because you succeeded. Not because you became wealthy. Not because you achieved great things.
