@cbsnews: This is why that warehouse in downtown Los Angeles has been burning for six consecutive days and why it could get much worse. @Matt Gutman reports. #losangeles

Scottsbusy :

why aren't these companies required to have sprinkler systems with fire suppressants?

Bridget🌺 :

It is in Boyle heights not downtown LA.

LA Girlie :

Boyle Heights is NOT DTLA

Ev² :

All preventable if they paid a living wage btw

Cyounger :

Is it odd for a company that big to have two fires like this within the short of time?

Hawkward :

So they say DTLA because people in other states or other parts of CA might not know where Boyle Heights is, but they know where DTLA is, so they can identify location faster. If you watch the whole video he does mention that it’s in Boyle Heights, however, it’s reported as LA because BH is a neighborhood not a city. I do think they could talk more about how neighborhoods like BH have had to go through issues like this with minimal resources compared to more affluent areas.

user2640448123840 :

HEY YOU GUYS HAVE YOU HEARD? It’s not in downtown LA!

Garret Ventura :

bigger issue is why there's not enough firefighters even though we're paying record high taxes.... very interesting

memyselfandi1090 :

Big issue: the fire marshall okayed this building design.

Hugh :

I live 22 miles due North of the fire at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains and we're breathing the smoke. It's bad.

damonclifford3 :

God help anyone over there with respiratory issues...God Bless them all 🙏🏾

Anneebean :

We’ve been smelling it in Rancho Cucamonga since it started. My asthma is pissed

perrinwolflord :

Heard the mayor say that the air was perfectly safe tho..
