Except at night when you have your interior lights on, then they can see right through. I have this product. It works amazingly for blocking out the sun and giving you privacy during the day but at night you do lose all privacy.

I have this in my whole house. It is fine during the day. Just have to remember that is ur neighbors can see in at night so still put up curtains.
