I honestly believe we give men too much credit: Most of them don't see living, existing people and things as anything more than functions. They're socialized that way and let's be honest, it's inherent for people overall (also why capitalism is so easily accommodated). Once you realize that, it becomes a *bit* easier to understand how many of them are able to just do what they do...they are entirely disconnected from the humanity of what's in front of them and even worse, the humanity inside of themselves. I looooooove the bravery you hold for sharing your experiences and you're so well articulated. Inspiring for all of us 🤎🤍

I’ve been rewatching SVU and the episode I watched last night literally was your story same language and all. She talked about cheetahs and antelope and how the antelope never learn day after day when the cheetah zeros in on one of us but the antelope keep coming back to graze in the same place. 😭🖤 I’m so sorry this happened to you. I'm sorry that happened to you. Yeah I don't know why it happens so much. If I think about it too much I get super depressed and can't do anything the rest of the day. It sucks. That's why I choose to believe that there is an afterlife, because if this is all there is.....I don't know what the point is.
