And while there's nothing wrong with getting another job... I realized something. If the only solution to losing a paycheck is finding another paycheck... You're still stuck in the same cycle. One company. One income source. One email away from starting over again. That's the trap. Not the job itself. The belief that it's your only option. My layoff forced me to think differently. Instead of only looking for another employer, I started learning a skill. I found a blueprint. Built something from my phone. A couple of hours a day. And for the first time in my life, I wasn't relying on one paycheck to determine my future. The goal isn't to quit your job. The goal is to make sure you have options if that job disappears.
