@corrieehammond: one of my biggest bridal pet peeves lately: illusion bodice two-piece gowns. not because i dislike the look, but because so many of them have that harsh horizontal line where the skirt is attached underneath the illusion and once you see it, you can’t unsee it. it cuts the gown in half and takes away from that seamless, elongated effect we’re usually trying to create but the second that line disappears it’s a literal game changer. whether it’s through additional lining, dropping the skirt attachment point, better construction, or simply cleaner pattern work, your eye follows the silhouette instead of getting stopped right at the waist and it’s one of those tiny design details most people wouldn’t think about, but once you know what to look for, you’ll spot it everywhere. and when it’s done right? chef’s kiss. @Strut Bridal Salon #bridalstylist #bridalinfluencer
