I used to Live on Tenerife, Rent 1200€ salary 1500€. Its a Joke tbh. I moved out after 5 years wasted.

It’s impossible to compare because the standards of living in the Netherlands are very high, expensive and housing is unbelievably high with a slim chance of acquiring affordable housing. Also, taxes are high. Therefore, Spain would be a better option if you live on a budget or a retiree. Good luck 🍀
