@tavelarocque: day 17 of the @higherupwellness speak your mind challenge. if you fall in love with the flower, you'll be disappointed in autumn. and it explains why so many people feel empty no matter how much they achieve. a flower is beautiful, but the bloom is the smallest, most temporary part of its whole life. so if you only love it for the bloom, then every autumn when it fades, you're crushed. people do this with their work, their goals, their whole lives. they fall in love with the win, the promotion, the moment they finally hit the goal. and the second it fades, and it always fades, they feel empty. so they chase the next bloom just to feel something again. that's the trap. you attached your love to the part that was always going to die. so fall in love with the plant instead. the roots, the work itself, the daily tending. that doesn't die in autumn. it cycles, it deepens, it's still there long after the bloom is gone. love the thing that lasts. not the thing that fades. #mindset #philosophy #growth #selfimprovement

grrrah :
Impermanence doesn’t diminish value; it often creates it. We treasure sunsets, childhood, and time with loved ones precisely because they don’t last forever. If we only loved what endured, we’d overlook some of life’s most meaningful experiences. Ik your vid isn’t really talking about this but I Js wna point this out
