If so, you tell your child to “shut their mouth” those officers are not your friends, they want you to say something that they can use against you in court (here it would be federal court) when you voice your opinion, whether or not you meant it, they’ll use it against you, they should’ve asked them to leave & they can speak to you & your child with your attorney present, these were not consensual contacts & when recorded, they’ll use it against you, so shut your pie hole!!! Parents, this is why you monitor your kids activities online, this encounter shows how law enforcement takes what you say (especially online) and can & will twist it to get your child to incriminate themselves & you, never, ever allow this to happen without an attorney present, this is a serious reminder to us all, that our government is monitoring our activities online, where does that presumed authority come from to go to their homes & interrogate them, no offense but this should’ve never been allowed to occur, it’s an overstepping of governmental authority & civil liberties & they’ll make 💩 up, they’ve just done that here by comparing them to that mass shooter in 2014 who made a video before his crimes & are putting these two young men into a “category”, this could make it difficult for them to obtain certain jobs, or join the military (especially ones that require federal background checks), buy a handgun (any firearms), traveling domestically or internationally (getting a passport), etc, once they put things like this that are attached to your name, SSN, it can, does & will affect more than you ever thought possible, just from what was said online!!!
