Because this version of “work-life balance” is really just two full-time jobs stacked on top of each other with no transition in between. You leave work mentally still there. You pick up your kids already behind. And then you sprint through dinner, homework, baths, meltdowns, laundry, and whatever emotional crisis landed that day… all before 8pm.
