I teach in a wealthy mid Atlantic school district (middle school) and all the girls use the small lululemon shopping bags for their lunch. They also use them for carrying their sneakers for gym.

We do a full spa day the day before school…hair cut/trim, 2 hour conditioning treatment, preventative lice treatment, finger and toe nails, face masks, lip masks, it’s an entire day of pampering and she loves it.

My sweet girl got the matching backpack, lunchbox, and water bottle from Pottery Barn. She has ADHD and is already pointing out social issues with other girls, but I’m trying my best to give her a social leg up by keeping up on fashion trends, accessories, ect. When she asks for something her peers have, she gets it. Being up-to-date on trends is social currency for girls.

in the first moments of seeing your videos i was like ‘why would we do XYZ for kids?’ and thinking its ‘not a big deal’ but no…you’re really right. i want to do everything i can to have my daughter feel included when she gets to school and set her up for social success best i can. she has an awesome personality of course and she is amazing on her own but why not go the extra mile, ya know? these are so helpful. thank you!

I will admit to scotchguarding the HECK out of both the backpack and lunchbox every year. My girl is annoyingly committed to a basically solid colored white for both though and you basically can't even breathe on them.

This is so funny. When I was in highschool, having an actual lunchbox was completely not cool. A paper, a plastic bag, or you just carried your food in your hand😂

Also if your kid has a lot of stuff - get a hard lunch box! My son was eating a smooshed lunch every day and I had no idea - Nike Jordan makes a cool hard lunch box for around $20

I had no idea we could wash those pottery barn lunchboxes in the washer and dryer! My kid loves his paw patrol one but it’s so dirty! Can you wash and dry the backpack too??
