@mr_facts28: On January 24th 2021 on the USS Carl Vinson, VFA-147 had 2 jets in the photo shoot and as the first pilot was landing he made a mistake during his approach and was short. The landing gear and the tail hook hit the very aft of the flight deck and the flight deck ripped off the landing gear assembly, the struts, the tires, causing debris to go all of the flight deck at different speeds. 2 people had major injuries 1 being a young plan captain waiting for her pilot to come to the jet she was waiting at and she was struck in the chest with a main landing gear tire. Another was a pilot on the LSO platform who had debris hit him in the eye. Everyone responded to the accident the way they should, the pilot was recovered from the water after he ejected, the debris was from the LSO platform all the way up to the 2 and 3 rows up by the bow .
