Grieving a parent is so hard, I lost my dad when I was 14 due to a heart attack as well as my mom 8 years ago also due to a heart attack. They were both 55 when they passed. My deepest condolences to your husband and family

This is how I lost my father. The unexpected loss is devastating. I am sure that equally watching your mom fight and pass was devastating as well in a same yet different way. No way is easier. I’m so sorry for your loss. Connect with a grief counselor if you don’t already have one -esp for the kids. It helps travel this journey even if just a little bit.
