The biggest weakness of this crimping tool is the cutting blade for pass-through (open-end) RJ45 connectors. After crimping only a few connectors (around 2-4), the blade starts to bend and no longer cuts the excess wires flush with the connector. Replacing the blade isn't a practical solution because replacement blades of the correct size are difficult to find, and the available ones are usually poor quality as well. As a result, I have to use a second tool, such as flush cutters, to trim the wires after every crimp. That completely defeats the purpose of using a pass-through crimping tool, especially when terminating a large number of connectors. In my opinion, the blade is the biggest design weakness of this tool and needs a much more durable, easily replaceable standard blade.
