Not far from the largest medical complex in the world, the Texas Medical Center.. 1,300 acres, 60 plus member institutions, including 21 renowned hospitals, four medical schools, and the world’s largest cancer center and children's hospital.

West U is not far from Rice University. the old original neighborhood were small ranch houses built on large lots. over past three or four decades, all of them were razed and these beautiful homes replaced them. the transformation is crazy. you can see the same in Bellaire, not far away

I grew up here ❤️Rice University is right around the corner. But it’s a beautiful neighborhood! Very family friendly and welcoming:) This made my heart so happy, so glad you walked around! That spot has the best cookies around too!

Take a drive through River Oaks using Inwood, Del Monte, or Willowick and then head over to Memorial Dr and then head west and check out those homes. Also, one of my former students’ families owns Tiny’s. Best chocolate chip cookies. Don’t forget to take a drive down Heights Blvd. It’s like a different town there.
