Purity culture isn’t the only reason people want modest swim suits. Some people have scars or skin that may be sensitive to the sun. People may have to wear compression bands and they don’t want that showing. Maybe someone wants swim wear that’s also clothing, so they can wear it all day on vacation. As long as it’s their choice, who cares?
