People compalin about replayability but its cheaper to play a $8 game with your friends for 10-20 hours than to go out to hang out for 3 hours and drop $30 minimum

The only problem with friend slop games is they die out really fast and get stale but they are cheap but I fell like a lot of people don’t wanna get into the game when the death is like 2-4 weeks away max.

my issue is, theres no progression, really nothing to obtain or grind for with your friends. I want friend games like risk of rain, peak, or other ones that actually have give us a reason to play besides a repetitive game loop with no rewards

theyre poor quality and not very fun games after a while they are maybe fun after a little while but then they get repetitive and boring and also cost 15 dollars so im not dropping 15 dollars on a boring ass game that me and my friends will play once

These are the only games in my library ✌️😭 I like them for multiple reasons 1. I suck at most games cuz I have one arm and these games are better cuz you can get help from people in them 2. NONE OF MY FRIENDS PLAY WITH ME so I play them with random people and it’s usually better 3. They aren’t necessarily competitive so you don’t have to be really good 4. They are funny asf and good for clips

Originally friendslop was used in a more targeted manner, where it was talking about games which weren’t fun inherently, and it was just your friends goofing off that made it fun (which is true of every multiplayer game no matter the quality), but people started using it on every co-op game including some with genuinely good game design

friendslop games are great, but unfortunately they burn out fast. I have: content warning, peak, lethal company, and memisis and my friends and i just dont play them anymore. Rn its been mostly minecraft, eve online, and starbound.

It’s not about the games itself, they are honestly probably the most enjoyable things I’ve ever played. It’s just that they seem to be a “flavor of the month” trend and often are played for a week at a time before moving onto a new one making the other ones collect dust in your library. I don’t mind dashing out $10 to play a game with friends. It’s just that I’m gonna hash out $10 to play a game with friends for a week at a time and then never touch it again.

I dont get hating them, but at the same time I dont really enjoy spending my hard earned money on a game were I have to rely on my friends to be active to actually get enjoyment out of. Lethal and content warning (games I’ve actually played a good few times, havent played much mecha nor repo) are some of the most fun games I’ve played, but once the novelty wears off they’re incredibly boring

i enjoy a good friendslop game dont get me wrong, but im tired of saying half of these games arent uninspired slop made to make a quick buck, repo and content warning are lethal company rips, side effects is off brand buckshot, there are good ones but there are bad ones too

friendslop games can be very fun, my only issue is idk how many times me and my friends will actually be able to play it together, we tried lethal company, played it once, and never again. and when you don't have the income to spend 5 or 10 bucks on a game you play once, you gotta pick and choose what you play and convince friends to play
