As an ups driver, we don’t know what we are delivering until we arrive to the actual location, and if the package is obviously empty, we hit the refused button.

Ive had that happen. You see its supposed to be a phone and realize box is empty. Rather just bring it back then have the awkward “my phone isnt in this box” conversation. Calm down for a minute.

As a UPS driver, this happens often. We often can’t find the package. Sometimes we grab the wrong one. Our delivery device will alert us if we scan the wrong package. There are a number of reasons. Just be patient. Your package will arrive later or the next day. I’m sure you’ll update us when it arrives.

I had a frustrating experience with UPS because my package was delayed and I wasn’t getting clear updates. I reached out through [email protected], and I was finally able to get help with the issue. I’m glad it was addressed, but I hope UPS improves communication and delivery service going forward.

Years ago, my mom was delivered an empty box that was suppose to have a phone in it. Called Sprint and they sounded like we were lying but they sent out another phone.

Ohhhh I had an opposite issue with FedEx! My husband ordered a new wireless Steam controller and they tired to deliver it, “No signature required” And then they refused to deliver it without a signature!!! Even though their own tracking system said no signature required

probably an empty package or damaged. me personally don't sheet it as refused unless I've spoke to the costumer. is costumer is not available it's incomplete shipment or damaged. but never refused.well that's how i work

I'm not sure why he shook it or didn't deliver it, but why does everybody act like delivery drivers know what's in your package. We don't know if there's a $1200 phone, a $10 cable, or a gag gift from Gary. It's a box with an address to me.

Looks like he realized it was empty then scanned it to be inspected at his hub. It’ll actually be better for you that he did it so the shipper can’t deny your claim. I drive for FedEx but you should be happy he’s looking out for you whether you realize it or not

It was either empty or damaged. Either way the driver saved you a headache. Now UPS and the shipper can figure out the issue and leave you out of the middle. The shipper can resend what you want with less hassle for you.

guarantee you the package was probably empty and he didnt want to deliver an empty package. especially with how expensive it is.

the box has a whats called a pal sticker on it. it tells the loader of the truck what shelf and location to put it on. what might of happened which it does happened it got the wrong pal sticker and it didnt match up with the shipping table the scanner picked up it im sure he was looking at the shipping table and pal label to see if they match and it didnt.

delivery's that require signatures are the worst. I've literally ran to the door the second the knocked before and they already had one foot in the truck by the time I opened it. God forbid you wait 5 seconds after knocking 🙄
