@creativeflairhq: The busiest gallery in your town isn't a gallery. It's the café with blank walls and hundreds of people past the counter every day. And most will hang your work for free. Almost no artist asks. Why it beats another post into the void: real eyes, more than most reels reach, and people actually looking instead of scrolling past in two seconds. How to do it: One. Pick a place your kind of buyer already goes. Independent café, nice restaurant, hotel lobby. Blank walls, good footfall. Two. Keep the pitch simple. I'd love to show my work here for a month, I'll handle the hanging, it brightens the space. Low risk, easy yes. Three. Label every piece with title, price, and a QR or your handle, so anyone can buy or enquire on the spot. Do not make them hunt. Four. Agree terms up front. Some take a small cut, most take nothing. You keep the customer either way. Five. Then post that it's up and tag the venue. Sends people in, and it's content. Stop waiting to be discovered by a gallery. Go and make your own wall. Save this for when you're ready, and send it to an artist who only ever posts online. #SellYourArt #EmergingArtist #ArtBusiness #ArtistTips #CreativeFlair

Yep, my art has been up at the local coffee shop since December and without fail I’m selling 2-3 paints a month. Thousands of people walk through that place a month, best spot I’ve ever found

Café local to me charges artists £100 to hang work, expects the artist to pay for opening night nibbles and wants a percentage from sales....🙈🙈🙈

The most seen art is the graffiti written on the underpass but it’s too pure to sell. It was made at the risk of freedom. Other art cannot make that claim.

I just posted on a very similar post to this and what I said was. A local artist simply walked into a local Indian restaurant that we work with and he asked could he display his work. And the Owner said yes it made the restaurant look nicer he gave a local customer a chance he has sold out his work consistently now for three years in fact an American tourist actually bought every single painting in the restaurant about two months ago and he had to replace that.
