Simulanka is the one actually relevant event like this i missed and im so mad 😭 if they're going to rope events into the main plot or huge chunks of a character's story they should be permanent

I'm glad they regretted it and made Bennets event permanent but man they should've at least brought back Simukanka's. like we got the entire backstory and existence of him, Hexinzirkel lore, major Wanderer character development and Paralogism set up, I need to know who in hyv though it's a good idea to make it limited. - from an og player whose sick of having their favourite characters gatekept by events 😭

I played the old dragonspine quest, but everything involving durin somehow happened when I was taking breaks. I have no idea who this kid is, what the hell a mini durin is, or anything about simulanka and it's been a bit confusing.

literally any new player when albedo shows up during that one mondstadt interlude. bros WHOLE character arc is in limited events. now its both albedo and durin.

This is honestly my biggest complaint about genshin. I started playing I think around 2.3 but I know one of the first events the one where scaramouche is introduced hints at the sky not being real and that becomes such an important thing that the main story is just like ‘oh you already know this thing that was revealed several years ago’. I wish they kept all the events quests that were voiced cuz they often have really important lore and character development. It’s the main reason if anyone asked me if they should start playing today I’d say no if they actually care about the story in games

im a chronic event skipper but this was one i went all the way on and explored EVERYTHING and did the whole long quest just because i wanted kaeyas skin... it turned out to be really fun and one of my fav genshin memories honestly
