Hey so I got emotional watching this while at my corporate job. I’ve always been a silent follower (until now). I love your story, and I relate so much to this post. As a first-gen professional, I’ve struggled mentally with carving my own path while also supporting my family. It’s rewarding to be able to do both, but it’s been exhausting at times. Watching your journey, from your corporate tech days to having the courage to walk away from something that no longer fulfilled you and build a life that feels aligned with who you are, gives me so much hope. Thank you for being so open about your journey , it resonates more than you know. 🫶🏽

Riley I love these posts!! Have been following you for a while now and you opening more about your family and journey means so much to me as an immigrant first gen professional myself. I just turned 26 and got to take my mom and grandma to Europe on both their birthdays. I’m able to pay for staff that they are never able to do for themselves like spa, nails,etc. Also got myself through school with no financial help from my parents and recently got the opportunity to buy my first house in NY. My grandma always says that generosity comes back 10x and this is why I’m sure amazing things are happening and will happen for you!!🤍
