games really need a "working adults" mode. like a 20 minute recap of what you've done, what mission/quest youre working on what abilities you have and what they do. that would be amazing

godddd yeah expedition 33 is the worst for this!! the story is heavy enough to demand some breaks but the mechanics are so dense and not intuitive

that's why i never finishe a game anymore, come back from a 6 month hiatus, restart the game, play for 10 hours then go on a month hiatus, rinse and repeat

Honestly you have to mentally prepare yourself to relearn everything including what the hell you were doing the last time you were on…and sometimes it’s just too daunting…it’s why I still haven’t found my son in Fallout 4 😭
