I really like your comedy but I have a different reaction to this. in the United States those jobs are minimum wage and he had nothing to do with the situation that the airline put you in... in the United States you tip. you didn't have to give him $100. you could have given him two. but at the very least don't make fun of him for trying to do his job.

I have a sunflower lanyard. due to other reasons, I'm often called to the desk. then they announced those who need assistance can board the plane first. I don't need that assistance so board by zone. but it's nice they give me that option.
